More outside house

"Life is Art" - unknown

"Art is Life" - unknown

"No paint this time?" - hardware store clerk.  I've been buying paint and paint samples for so long. Lately it has winded down.

Today's efforts

- Put up last of the shutters
- Fixed pesky garage side door that wouldn't close because it was swollen. I cut off a sliver to make it narrower, and lowered the strike plate so now it shuts perfect.
- Cleaned and greased the mower for winter storage.
- Fixed a double-hung window. The ropes had come off the frame trying to work the window loose after painting a few weeks ago.
- Finished painting trim around front and back doors
- Re-paint basement bulkhead

Below, an abundance of Shutters, and dark trim around front door painted of same color as shutters (Midnight Dream)

I still need to paint the foot threshold. It's pretty rotted, so I wire-brushed the rot and filled it in with construction adhesive (Loctite PL 3X polyurethane).

Video clip of front door. I accidentally took the video trying to frame a still shot. Kept it, I like the look

Sun came out late in the day, lighting up foliage across the street

Tour!

The new darker trim around front door, brings out the red door and original knocker.

The color painting in center is mom's.  Sketch beneath the light is dad's.
