East Haddam fall colors 2019

Stopping the car every half mile for a photo, was necessary because the colors seemed pretty vibrant this year. This post is just a bunch of photos to enjoy.

Cows at Ballek's.  Ballek's has been farming this land since the 1600s, fourteen generations.  The land was granted by King Charles, I believe to the Ackley family from Much Hadham, Hertfordshire.












The swing bridge opens every hour to let tall boats through, when there is boat traffic.
